Since 2003 the company their engineering teams in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, have delivered on developing innovative and technical solutions focused on customer needs with the result that over 2.5 million generators have been sold in North America alone.

This success has seen the company expand from its original headquarters in Santa Fe Springs, California Champion to include facilities in Jackson Tennessee, Milwaukee Wisconsin and Toronto Canada. The company's new state-of-the-art product development facility is staffed by some of the industry's most talented and experienced engineering minds that have produced a new line of V-Twin engines that are said to offer unparalleled power, performance and durability.

Today Champion’s product line consists of portable generators, home standby generators, inverter generators, engines, winches and log splitters.

The company appear to be a privately owned.

While the generators are designed and engineered in the US, it seems that the generators are built in China according to strict company parameters and quality control. Although we have not seen any mention of an association with a particular Chinese company, we believe Zhejiang Yoafeng Power Technology Co, Ltd  (www.yfpower.com) are a manufacturer of Champion generators.
